Abstrak

Kajian ini betujuan untuk melakukan studi awal dan perencanaan pemanfaatan dan pengembangan Bus Rapid transit (BRT) di Kalimantan Selatan, khususnya di kawasan Metropolitan Banjar Bakula dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan transportasi umum darat di Kalimantan Selatan.  Data primer diperoleh melalui survei  lapangan dan Fokus Group Diskusi ke Dinas Perhubungan masing-masing Kabupaten/Kota. Sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh data Dinas Perhubungan masing-masing Kabupaten/Kota dan berbagai sumber publikasi yang ada. Survei dilakukan di beberapa lokasi, dan dibagi menjadi beberapa zona dan sub zona. Survei dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data karakteristik  penumpang, headway, load factor eksisting, serta matrik asal tujuan (MAT) yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner terhadap penumpang angkutan umum serentak di terminal-terminal kota. Data dianalisa dan disajikan mengacu pada konsep / metode perencanaan transportasi.   Secara umum rute BRT yang direncanakan berdasarkan hasil kajian ini tediri atas 6 (enam) rute yaitu ;   Rute 1 Kantor Gubernuran Banjarmasin – Terminal Km 17,  Rute 2 Trisakti – Terminal Km 17 (Liang Anggang),  Rute 3 Terminal Handil Bakti – Terminal Km 17, Rute 4 Terminal Km 17 – Bandara Syamsudin Noor, Rute 5 Terminal Km 17 – Martapura, Rute 6 Terminal Km 17 – Banjarbaru. Jenis kendaraan yang disarankan adalah bus besar lantai tunggal dengan kapasitas 49 (empat puluh sembilan) tempat duduk.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct initial study and planning the utilization and development of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in South Kalimantan, especially in Banjar Bakula Metropolitan area as an effort to improve the quality of public transport services in South Kalimantan. The primary data is obtained through field surveys and Focus Group Discussion to the Department of Transportation of each district / city. While the secondary data is obtained from the data of each Department of Transportation District / City and various sources of existing publications. The survey was conducted in several locations, and is divided into several zones and sub zones. The survey was conducted to obtain the data characteristics of passengers, headway, existing load factor, as well as the origin destination matrix (MAT) conducted by using a questionnaire to interview passengers using public transport terminals simultaneously in the city. The data is analyzed and presented refers to the method of transportation planning. In general, the BRT is planned based on the results of this study consists of 6 (six) routes namely: Route 1 Banjarmasin governorate Office – Terminal Km 17, Route 2 Trisakti – Terminal Km 17 (Liang Anggang), Route 3 Handil Bakti Terminal – Terminal Km 17, Route 4 Terminal Km 17 – Syamsudin Noor Airport, Terminal 5 Km Route 17 – Martapura, Route 6 Terminal Km 17 – Banjarbaru. Recommended vehicle types is a big bus with a capacity of 49 single floor (forty nine) seats.
